Teaching Philosophy
Eastlyn approaches teaching as an act of service, an opportunity to uplift and guide each dancer with intention and enthusiasm. While dancers often focus inward, teachers must see outward. She carefully observes each student’s technique, anatomy, learning style, and natural strengths, shaping corrections that meet the dancer where they are.
Her goal extends beyond building strong technicians; she aims to cultivate a deep appreciation for ballet’s history, discipline, and beauty. Eastlyn believes ballet imparts invaluable life skills including posture, time management, commitment, resilience, and work ethic, and she treasures the opportunity to share these lessons with dancers of all ages.
